British Embassy confirms change in documentation required to enter Spain

The British Embassy has confirmed that the list of documents required for entry into Spain has changed whilst current entry restrictions continue.

In a statement issued on their social media accounts, the embassy confirmed that people who are legally resident in Spain before the end of 2020 can use either their Residencias, EU residence certificates, residence cards as a family member of an EU citizen, proof of application for an EU residence card or confirmation of a residence application from the Immigration Office as confirmation you are legally allowed to enter the country.

Current rules are set to remain in place until at least the end of this month.

The new requirements have also been sent to airlines and travel operators to ensure people have the correct documentation before their journey.
