Coronavirus: Infection rate climbs across Spain

The Ministry of Health has issued the latest data for coronavirus infections, with cases appearing to be rising again after nearly 4 months of decreases.

9,798 new cases of the virus were reported yesterday, with a durther 43 deaths of people who had previously tested positive for the virus.

The incidence rate per 100,000 people has also increased, rising to 82.02 – up from 71.5 pm Friday.

In the Canaries, the current incidence rate stands at 87.96 per 100,000 people, whilst in the Valencian Region, the current incidence rate stands at 88.09 per 100,000 people.
