Mobile World Congress opens it’s doors to delegates

The first post-pandemic Mobile World Congress has opened it’s doors in Barcelona – the first event since 2019.

Whilst the number of delegates has been cut by nearly two-thirds, it is being seen as a strong boost for one of the regular events on the global tech calendar.

30,000 people will attend this years covid-secure event, however a number of high profile exhibitors will not have a physical presence at this years event.

Vodafone, Ericsson, Lenovo, Samsung, Sony and Nokia are amongst the firms who have said they will not have any exhibitions in place this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
