British residents are being reminded that the rules for driving licences is due to change at the end of this month as part of the Brexit process.
UK driving licences will no longer be recognised for driving in the country after the 31st October. Those who have yet to transfer their licence are being advised to contact the DGT urgently to ensure that they remain legally able to drive.
Warnings over UK registered cars being in the country longer than six-months have also been issued, with the DGT expected to target illegal vehicles from the start of next month.
The change in the rules does not apply to visitors to Spain.
