Spain confirms no PCR test required to cross from Portugal

The Spanish Government has issued an apology to Portuguese officials after confirming those crossing the land border between Spain and Portugal would not require a negative PCR test.

Spokesperson María Jesús Montero said that there would be no change to the current border between the two countries following on from a meeting of the cabinet yesterday afternoon.

There had been concerns of border controls being introduced after it was suggested that those entering Spain from its neighbour would require certification before entering Spain.
