Spain has been placed on the UK Governments amber list meaning people returning from the country will have to self isolate for ten days.
Gibraltar, as well as Portugal however is on the green list, alongside Israel and Australia.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps issued the list during a statement on Friday afternoon from Downing Street.
Countries will be categorised in a red-amber-green traffic light system, with people arriving from the green list not required to self-isolate and only need to take one test.
People coming into England from an amber country will need to quarantine at home for ten days and take two tests, while those entering from a red-list nation will need to stay in a quarantine hotel for 11 nights at a cost of £1,750.
